Accommodation
Poitiers is a medieval city located in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The main gateway to Poitiers for international travelers is Poitiers TGV Station. Poitiers is connected to Paris (Paris Montparnasse) by a 2 hour trip on the TGV.
Concerning accommodation, for low budgets, you have the possibility to book temporary accommodation directly with the CROUS even if you are not a student. This housing is ideally located because you just have to walk a few minutes to get to the congress. For more information, click here:

For other types of housing, you can find accommodation in any hotels of the city center. You will just have to take the bus line 1 direction "milétrie rond-point" and get off at the "Cité U" stop.
