Welcome to our website devoted to the first Young Researchers Conference of the Center for Research on Cognition and Learning (CeRCA). This conference is entitled « From research to applications » and will take place on June, 8th 2017 in the Research Center for Human and Social Sciences (MSHS) in Poitiers, France.

 

Organized by the PhD Students of the CeRCA, this conference proposes a privileged time for the young researchers from the different fields of psychology to present their works. This conference also fosters the emergence of a network between young researchers.

 

Researches that will be presented at this conference will concern fundamental and applied research from the different fields of psychology.

 

The conference will be composed of oral communications between young researchers and two keynotes speakers. Furthermore, two tmoments will be dedicated to posters presentations. 

 

The day will end with a conference of the Professor Alan Baddeley, internationaly well-known for his researches on working memory.

FAQ

Who can communicate?

All the young researchers in psychology are invited to communicate. If you are an undergraduate student, a PhD student or a post-doctoral student, we warmly invite you to submit your work, whether it is fundamental or applied.

 

What type of communication can I propose?

You can propose an oral communication or a poster. Oral communications will last 20 minutes including 5 minutes for questions.

 

How can I propose a communication?

You can submit your proposition of communication online using the « submit » tab. Your abstract shouldn’t be longer than 300 words (title and key words not included) and it can be submitted in English or French.

To submit your proposal, you have to own a sciencesconf.org account. If you do not have an account, you can create one while the submission.

 

Can I attend to the conference without communicating?

Yes, but the registration (free) is required to:

  • Access to the conference
  • Receive the welcome bag
  • Receive the lunch bag
